And although I didn’t bring my swimming costume with me, (like I would anyway! 
), the swimming pool did look quite inviting, although not for diving into from my bedroom window……!

Many-a-great name in show business has stayed at the Best Western Chine Hotel while walking the boards at one or other of Bournemouth’s many theatres.
The walls of the lower levels of the hotel are plastered with old time photographs of the famous variety artistes who have stayed at the Best Western Chine Hotel, Boscombe. One of those acts was Wilson, Keppel and Betty:
And did you know that there were about 8 - 12 “Bettys” over the years, and one daughter even followed in her mother’s footsteps to be a “Betty” ?
But back to the hotel! The food at the Best Western Chine Hotel, Boscombe is superb. Here is one of their scrumptious desserts I had whilst staying there:
All in all I can safely say that the Best Western Chine Hotel is an excellent hotel to stay at if you are on holiday, business etc in the Bournemouth area. It’s even got a very nice beach you can walk around on and talk to yourself on camera! :
