IAMJOHNTHAW was the fictitious blog of the renowned Sweeney/Morse, (and “other stuff”), actor the late and great John Thaw. It lived on Diaryland. It died on Diaryland when the great John Thaw became the “late” and great John Thaw. It ended like this:
Well, it had to happen eventually. Old Raimundo Suarez wasn’t going to live forever. Now I’ve got to face the fate that every celebrity who employs a double has to risk.
That’s right: I’ve had the phone call, and it’s time to pay for my pleasures of the last few years. It’s time to go to “the island”. They say that it’s not too bad. Hanging out with Elvis and Marilyn, Kurt and Glenn shouldn’t be too bad, but I suppose I’ll miss Dennis a bit.
In the meantime, thanks for your attention. In the unlikely event that they allow internet access on “the island”, I’ll keep my loyal fans updated on my future projects and lies, just watch the notify list.
