Thanksgiving in London. Where to celebrate Thanksgiving in London? Nowhere apparently!?!
Celebrating Thanksgiving in London appears to be a non-event. Every year I look to see if the “American Community” is putting together a special “Thanksgiving Event” in London for the many Americans living in London and the UK. But no. The only thing I find is half-hearted attempts at “Restaurant Guides” telling me of great Thanksgiving Themed Meals being served around the capital.
And it’s clear from the menus that the restaurant owners have neither asked any Americans what constitutes a “typical” Thanksgiving meal, nor have they bothered to do their homework and find out what they should really be cooking for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving in London? Not this year – again. Not at an over-priced themed restaurants run by Europeans/Non-Americans etc.
