Play One More For My Radio Sweetheart - from the song “Radio Sweetheart” by Elvis Costello of the My Aim Is True album. Boy, that was a long time ago, but what a great song. In fact it was 1977. Can you remember that far back? Were you even born then?

In 1977 I would have been 14yrs old. I remember getting into Elvis Costello several years later. (It was actually my mate Anthony who was the big EC fan at college). We went to see EC live twice - once at Newcastle City Hall, (what a venue!), and then down at the Albert Hall, London.

The only reason I’m mentioning this song right now, is that it’s running through my head continuously, and I can’t seem to get rid of it! Have you ever had that? The “Can’t Get That Song To Stop Playing In My Head” thing?

Anyway, I’m sure it’ll stop soon and be replaced by the usual random thoughts that normally lurk up there!
