Cheveley Park, Newmarket. This was the weekend just gone which included lots of:

The weekend at Newmarket included lots of drinking and backgammon as well. It looked at bit like this at times:
Naturally, when one is in the English countryside, one has to blend in with the natural surroundings…
Of course, the countryside around the Newmarket/Cheveley Park area is great to walk around in. So, one Sunday morning I took advantage of this and was up at around 7.30am, for, what I thought was going to be was a nice quiet walk in the English countryside….
BUT! Apart from all of that – I can definitely recommend a trip out to your local bit of English countryside this weekend!
