People Die

People die. Of course, it happens every day.

Every time I phone home my mam tells me she’s going to another funeral. Today I actually knew the TWO funerals she’s off to in the next week. They are, of course, some elderly folk I remember from my distant past at home when I was a child. They were “old” then – they must have been a bazillion years old when they died.

And today we find out that Sir Bobby Robson has died this morning as well. He was a great English football manager and a very likable personality.

People die. Just not me today, hopefully. I know it’s only lunch time, but I think I’ll be okay…

Clarityn, Hay Fever and Weather

Clarityn, Hay Fever and Weather. Hay fever, sneezing, runny noses and eyes, headaches and all the other hay fever associated illnesses are back to plagues us again in the UK. Combat your hay fever here:

What’s really annoying is that it quite often effects me the day after the warm weather/high pollen count. Take yesterday for example, the hottest day of the year so far, (allegedly), the car was hot when I got in it to travel home. So, I drove with the window open for a bit. Now this morning – I’m sneezing like a mad thing, my sinuses are congested and I have a headache. And today is a lowish pollen count day!?!

I don’t suppose there’s a cure for all this hay fever nonsense. So I guess I’ll continue popping the clarityn! :(
